JUAA concluded the agreement for international collaboration with Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), Taiwan, and the Office of National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA), Thailand in November 2017.
Based on this international collaboration agreement, we have started the staff training program.
The first meeting hosted by TWAEA was held in March 2018 at Taipei. We had discussed on the evaluation system of each agency and Internal Quality Assurance of the Higher Education Institutions in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.
The second meeting was held in June 2018 at Tokyo hosted by JUAA. The main themes were evaluator training and the efficiency of evaluation.
As one of the training program, the staff of TWAEA and ONESQA visited Rikkyo University and Kogakuin University and exchanged the views with the Vice President and the administrative staff about their IQA system.
They met the international students from Taiwan and Thailand at Rikkyo University and had a fruitful time to talk about their campus life in Japan. And in Kogakuin University, they visited the robot research laboratory.
The next meeting will be held in Bangkok.
