Overview

13 to 16 May 2025

The Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) hosted the 18th INQAAHE (The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education) Biennial Conference 2025 from May 13 to 16 at the Akasaka Intercity Conference Center in Tokyo.
Under the theme “The Big Bang Theory: A Paradigm Shift in Quality Assurance,” the conference brought together approximately 270 participants from across the globe to discuss how quality assurance in higher education should evolve in response to the rapid changes taking place in today's society. Over the course of four days, keynote speeches, breakout sessions, and panel discussions were held as well as poster sessions around four sub-themes, allowing for lively exchanges that reflected the diverse quality assurance systems of different countries and regions. The program also included cultural experiences to help deepen international exchange among participants.
